Great Stories, Real Impact.
A note from the Program Director
Rounding out my 8th year working with young adults and college students in National Service, I am still in awe of how much change a single person can make in the lives of so many. The OUSF AmeriCorps Members have been with expectant parents preparing to being new life into the world, stepping into early education classrooms to ensure a bright beginning for youth, encouraging improved academic engagement and social and emotional skills in their students increasing retention rates across the state, supporting patients in their health journeys taking the time to provide care with compassion, and supporting the services of non-profits across the state.
