Volunteer Mobilization Spotlight: Christmas for the Families of Veterans

This week I started working on my mobilization project with a woman that is a mentor in veterans court. Her job is to help the veterans get through the program and help with their families. I reached out to her wanting to do a project where I help and recruit other people to provide Christmas for the veterans kids. It surprised me how many veterans even the young ones had kids and how many needed help. This will be a great way to give to someone else this season and help families in needs. I mostly gathered information this month to see how many people I needed and how we were going to execute the plan. I am super excited and looking forward to this project.
